Get your ingredients ready for Kheere Ka Raita Recipe or Cucumber Raita Recipe. Slice n dice quarter of a cucumber while grate the other quarter. You may leave the skin on if you prefer.

Slice & dice cucumbers


Add milk to dahi or yoghurt and mix well until smooth.

Add grated cucumber, cumin powder, kashmiri red chilli powder and salt. Mix it well.

Add cumin powder, salt & red chilli powder & mix well using a whisk

Ingredients

  • 0.5 Piece Cucumber Fresh
  • 1.5 Cup Yoghurt Dahi
  • 0.25 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder Lal Mirch
  • 0.5 Tablespoon Mint Leaves Hara Pudina (Finely chopped)
  • 0.5 Teaspoon Cumin Powder Jeera Powder
  • 0.5 Teaspoon Salt Adjust to suit your taste
  • 0.5 Tablespoon Coriander Leaves Hara Dhaniya (Chopped)

Instructions

  • Get your ingredients ready.
  • Grate a quarter cucumber. Slice and dice the other quarter.
  • Whisk the yoghurt till smooth. If you feel that the yoghurt is too thick, you can add 4 tablespoons of milk to it
  • Add salt, red chilli, and cumin powder to the yoghurt and mix well.
  • Finely cut some mint leaves and add to the yoghurt mix with cucumber. Mix well.
  • Garnish with a few coriander and mint leaves.
  • Serve with your main meal.

Notes - Cucumber Raita Recipe or Kheere ka Raita Recipe

  • You may replace regular salt with black salt.
  • Red chilli powder can be replaced with regular chilli powder to add more spice.
  • Adding milk helps in thinning the yoghurt or dahi a bit.
