The Sir Dorabji Tata Trust was established by Sir Dorab Tata, the elder son of Tata Group founder Jamsetji Tata. Founded in 1932, it is one of the oldest non-sectarian philanthropic organisations in India. It was created to catalyse development across the nation through contemporary initiatives.
Mr Ratan N Tata is the Chairman of the Tata Trusts (comprising Sir Ratan Tata Trust and Allied Trusts, and the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and Allied Trusts).
