Sultan Ahmet Mosque

Sultan Ahmet Mosque is a historic mosque located in Istanbul, Turkey. Sultan Ahmet Mosque is popularly known as the Blue Mosque for the blue tiles adorning the walls of its interior. It was built during the rule of Ahmed I. It contains the tomb of the founder Sultan Ahmet hence is called Sultan Ahmet Mosque.
