Instructions
Heat very little oil in a frying pan. Take the mutton patties and fry them for 4 minutes on each side. If they are frozen, cover them with a vessel so that they thaw and cook quickly.
In another pan and very little oil and brown the burger buns on both sides. Set aside.
Season onions, cucumber and tomatoes with salt and pepper to taste.
Start assembling the mutton burger. On the lower part of the burger bun place a cheese slice (you can place a lettuce leaf below it if you wish).
Add the next layer of onions, followed by tomatoes and then cucumber.
Place the cooked mutton burger patty on the bed of vegetables.
Add the top part of the burger bun and serve hot.
You can also add some sides of salad and french fries to your jucilicious mutton burger.
Notes
Make a dent in the middle of your burger patties to keep their flat shape and cook more evenly.
Do not keep pressing on the burger as it cooks, once is enough.
Use whatever bread you like for the sandwich even a pita will do.
Keep the mutton burger patties chilled while the pan is heating. This helps the meat stay together and keeps the burgers nice and juicy.
