Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
- 2 Teaspoon Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream or Gelato
- 1.25 Cup Espresso I use my moka pot
- 1 Teaspoon Chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
Make the ice cream
- Whip cream with sugar and vanilla till stiff. Chill till it sets.
- Distribute vanilla ice cream in two cups or sundae glasses.
Assemble the coffee
- Pour coffee on top of the ice cream in the glasses.
- Spoon whipped cream on the top of the coffee.
- Sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Chill the dessert glass or mug.
- Don't use diluted or watered down coffee, it should be short and strong. Brew it fresh.
- Your gelato or ice cream should be just soft enough to scoop.
- Pour the espresso over the ice cream and serve the eiskaffee immediately.
- Garnish & liqueur are optional, so be creative as per your taste.
