Canadian Coffee - A Wonderful Coffee Recipe

Canadian coffee is Warming and comforting decoction! I am sure this would be wonderful in Canada on a cold snowy day. Some of you may call it an Irish coffee with a Canadian twist!! Delicious!!

  • For the coffee
  • 1/4 Cup Maple syrup
  • 1/2 Cup Rye Whisky
  • 3 Cups Freshly Brewed Coffee Hot & Strong
  • For the topping
  • 3/4 Cup Whipped heavy cream
  • 4 Tablespoon Maple syrup


  • Get your ingredients ready.
  • Take your Moka Pot and brew really strong coffee with water.
  • While the coffee is brewing, whip heavy cream with maple syrup.
  • Whip up soft mounds; set it aside.
  • Warm the 4 coffee mugs. The easy way to do this: let hot water sit in the mug, then empty it out.
  • Divide maple syrup and rye whisky among 4 coffee mugs.
  • Pour in coffee to 1 inch of top; spoon topping over coffee.
  • Top with a collar of the whipped heavy cream by sliding the dollop gently over the back of the spoon.
  • Serve hot.
