Keep grated lauki in steamer or pressure cooker and cook. (around 15-20 min)

Steamed ghiya or lauki


In a mixing bowl, whisk the yoghurt.

In a mixing bowl, whisk the yogurt.


Add steamed lauki to the yoghurt and mix it.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Lauki Grated & Steamed
  • 1 Cups Yoghurt
  • 0.5 Teaspoons Salt Adjust it to your taste
  • 1/2 Teaspoons Black Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoons Red Chilli Powder For garnishing
  • 1/2 Teaspoons Cumin Powder
  • 1 Tablespoons Coriander Leaves Fresh

Instructions

  • Get your ingredients ready.
  • Grate and boil the bottle gourd or lauki.
  • Whisk the yoghurt till smooth. If you feel that the yoghurt is too thick, you can add 4 tablespoons of milk to it
  • Add lauki to the yoghurt and mix well.
  • Add salt, black salt and cumin powder to the yoghurt and mix well.
  • Garnish with red chilli powder and chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve.
