Peshawari Gosht, Peshawari Gosht Kadai, Peshawari Mutton Curry - This Peshawari mutton curry recipe is made using very few ingredients in a kadai (heavy bottom pan). Here is how to make it.
Increase the heat to high and add mutton and add salt.
Add pounded ginger and garlic mix.
Next, add chopped green chillies and mix well.
Add the halves of the tomatoes.
Cover the kadai and let the mutton cook.
Mash the tomatoes nicely.
Let the Peshawari gosht bhuno further till done.
Garnish with coriander.
Peshawari Gosht is ready to be served
Notes
There is no need to add any extra water as the mutton will cook in its own juices. However, if the curry is getting dry and burning at the bottom of the pan at any point while cooking, feel free to add some water.
You can add a handful of crushed crispy fried onions or birista while cooking the mutton for a richer taste.
