Chawal Garam Masala or Garam Masala Rice is a quick, flavourful rice pilaf recipe made from freshly made or leftover rice. This garam masala rice recipe goes very well with lentils, chicken or egg curries, or gravy dishes.

Notes
You could use oil instead of ghee and go vegan.
You could use any good brand of garam masala powder
You can add either kewra water or rose water for fragrance.
You can add vegetables of your choice to make garm masala rice more healthy and tasty.
Please cook the vegetables before adding rice as rice turns mushy if overcooked.
Adding vegetables is completely optional. For an instant version, just skip vegetables.
This garam masala rice recipe tastes great when prepared slightly spicy.
