Briefly About Major General SK Gadeock

Lieutenant General Sunil Kumar Gadeock, AVSM (Retd) was commissioned into the Brigade of the Guards, Indian Army on 11 June 1977.

He is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla and the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.

He is a Master of Science (Defence Studies), a Master of Philosophy and a Diploma holder in Senior Level Defence Management. He received his Doctorate in Defence & Strategic Studies from Madras University, Chennai.

During his distinguished career in the Army, he served two Presidents, viz Dr Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy & Dr Giani Zail Singh at Rashtrapati Bhawan and was consequently posted as Adjutant of the prestigious National Defence Academy, Pune.

He graduated from Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, and commanded a GUARDS mechanized unit and also an Armoured Brigade.
