Masala Vatur – What is a Masala Vatur?

Masala Vatur is the traditional Kashmiri spice box used by the Waza. It is usually a nine-compartment aluminium container & stocked with cardamom, cloves, powdered fennel, dry ginger, shahi jeera or pungent cumin.

It contains all the core ingredients of the wazwan cuisine. This is the magic box responsible for the aromatic flavours of the Wazwan.
