Matka Cooking

Matka cooking is traditionally done in a matka. it is a form of really slow cooking. Matka cooking uses a round clay pot which is a pottery utensil that is used for cooking. Food is baked in a sealed matka also known as earthen handi. This is the way people of Punjab used to cook in the older days. Matka cooking allows food to be sealed and cooked over fire gently.
