What is Tajj? Tajj is the the Gujarati name for Cassia. Tajj (તાજ) also known as Chinese Cinnamon or Chinese Cassia is primarily harvested in in South China, Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar. In India only a few plants are available. It is the dried bark of Tajj which is a small, bushy, evergreen tree from the family Lauraceae. These essential oils have a strong antibacterial, antiviral, antitumor and anti-inflammatory effect on our biological functions and physiological activities. It has a sweet, aromatic, and pungent flavour & is used as a flavouring agent, for candies, desserts, baked goods, and meat.
