Aloo Pyaz Ka Paratha - Moga Punjabi Tadka

Aloo pyaz ka paratha – moga punjabi tadka

What is Aloo Pyaz ka Parantha?

Aloo Pyaz Ka Paratha is a stuffed whole wheat Indian flatbread which has a tasty and spicy onion potato and pepper filling.

Hailing from Punjab, India, this is one of the favourite breakfasts of all time! It is served with lots of ghee and homemade butter (makhan).

Aloo Pyaz Ka Paratha (Potato And Onion Stuffed Flatbread) is a classic example of a stuffed paratha. This paratha is crisp from the outside but tender from the inside and super tasty too.

The USP of this dhaba-style bread is the use of ground spices which add aroma and flavour to the dishes.

Aloo means “potato” and paratha means “flatbread” in Hindi, so the name is quite telling: aloo paratha is an unleavened whole wheat flatbread stuffed with a savoury, spiced, mashed potato filling.

Serve some extra butter on the side, along with Mango Pickle, Lemon Pickle, or some fresh curd (yogurt).

You can serve aloo ka paratha like many dhabas (roadside eateries) do: with Dal Makhani, Chana Masala, or Dal Fry.
