Roomali Garh Gurgaon Experience Review
I was looking for some authentic Rajasthani food, specifically Laal Maas. I found Roomali Garh Gurgaon and decided to try them to satiate my tastebuds.
Roomali Garh Gurgaon uses very good packaging with bright colours. Their delivery time is great however, that is because of Zomato’s delivery services.
The food from Roomali Garh Gurgaon, on the other hand was a total disaster. The Jodhpuri Laal Maas was not a laal maas but mutton masala made in refined oil and not ghee. It was low in the spice quotient with a very average curry. To top it all, it was barely Laal. While the actual Jodhpuri Laal Maas is on a very spicier side and is made only in ghee. The mutton biryani, on the other hand, was just a pulao. It just had a few small fragments of the actual meat in it. The accompaniments were sufficient.
The pricing for something unauthentic is obviously on a pretty higher side. When we order from such places, all we pay for is our disappointment and then our trust gets shattered.
Consequently, I think that it is a worthless effort for paying for just good packaging with dismal and tasteless food and then regretting it.
Roomali Garh Gurgaon guys have a long way to go to get their food in order that they are selling as authentic.
The Rajwadi land of Rajputs is a paradise for foodies out there. Rajasthani cuisine is among those rare cuisines boasting of a never-ending platter with a plethora of dishes; ranging from tangy drinks to spicy starters, mouth-watering sabzis and crunchy bread along with added delights of chutneys, achars, papad and chhach. Not to forget the delicate desserts and rich crunchy delights that melt in your mouth instantly!
Rajasthani cuisine is influenced by its rich heritage and arid climatic conditions. The little availability of fresh fruits and vegetables distinguishes their cuisine. A few common ingredients are beans, lentils, gram flour, corn, barley, millet, bajra, bread and dairy products (esp. Ghee). There is more inclination towards vegetarian food, but various kinds of meat dishes prevail as well.
Rajasthani cuisine is also influenced by the Rajputs, who are predominantly non-vegetarians. Their diet consisted of game meat and dishes like laal maas (meat in red gravy), safed maas (meat in white gravy), khad khargosh (rabbit cooked in underground pit) and jungli maas (game meat cooked with basic ingredients).
