Canadian Coffee - A Wonderful Coffee Recipe
Canadian coffee is Warming and comforting decoction! I am sure this would be wonderful in Canada on a cold snowy day. But then it is Summer in India and I still relish my coffee creations.
As a result, this gem was created last evening in succession to Alexander Espresso the evening before. It seems it is going to be a serious coffee week.
The maple syrup and whipped cream are amazing in this concoction. The taste of whisky isn’t too strong since the maple syrup really mellows it out.
Canadian Coffee & Ice Cream
If you have no whipped cream, think about using some ice cream and mix the maple syrup into it. Trust me. It’ll be really yummy! As Cafe Alessandro, Canadian Coffee can also be used as a wonderful end to a meal!
Historians argue that a man by name captain John Smith introduced coffee to North America.
However, accounts of this statement, coffee is also claimed to have been in existence before the captain arrived in Canada. In the early days of Canada, coffee houses abounded. They served coffees, alcohol and other beverages.
So, do Canadians have a national coffee drink? Apart from their favourite maple-flavoured espresso, Canadians don’t really have a national coffee drink shows my countless browsing of available webpages. They love their coffee, period. This seems to be a part of the genesis and romance of both the Canadian Coffee & Maple Syrup.
But do try the following recipe of Canadian Coffee or Canada-fied Irish Coffee. This twist is spiked with Canadian Rye whisky and a drizzle of maple syrup. It is then topped with maple-laced whipped cream, of course for super deliciousness.

Recipe Notes - Canadian Coffee
- You may garnish the Canadian Coffee with chocolate shavings however this is optional.
Lightly whipped will give you a frothy cream collar on top. If you want to pile the cream high, you’ll need to whip it to medium-stiff peaks.
