Spicy Sausage Roast Recipe – Goan inspired and comes out really really spicy
Spicy Sausage Roast is one of the most unbelievably delicious dishes. The roast is Goan-inspired, and apart from the combined meat and potato delish, it uses the Goan roast masala paste.
Of late, I have been breaking boiled potatoes instead of slicing or chopping them. It provides a different kind of satisfying experience.
The sausages I have used are regular pork sausages since I didn’t have access to Goan chorizo. The recipe takes just a few minutes to prepare and takes almost 15 minutes.
It goes very well with pao bread that you can procure from a local store. So in all this becomes an easy & stress-free weeknight meal. Enjoy!!

| Goan Roast Masala | 2 Tablespoons | |
| Rice Bran Oil | 1 Tablespoons | |

The Process to make Spicy Sausage Roast
- First of all, get your ingredients ready.
- Slice onions, tomatoes and green chillies. Slice sausages into discs 3-4 cm thick.
- Boil, peel and break the potatoes into smaller pieces.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and saute curry leaves and green chillies.
- Add onions and fry them till golden brown. Then, add tomatoes and fry till the oil starts separating.
- Now add Goan roast masala and red chilli flakes.
- Add potatoes and coat them well with the prepared masala. Add a splash of water and mix till all ingredients integrate well.
- Finally, add the pork sausages and let the entire mixture cook till done.
- Check for salt and serve with some fresh pao bread. If you have poey (Goan bread) even better.
- Enjoy your meal.

तीखे सॉसिजेज़ ग़ोआन स्टाइल में बनाने की विधि।
- सारी सामग्री एकत्रित कर लें।
- प्याज़, टमाटर और हरी मिर्च को लम्बा काट लें। सॉसिज को गोलाई में काट लें।
- आलू को उबाल कर छील लें और हाथ से छोटा टोध लें।
- फ़्राइइंग पैन में तेल गरम कर लें और करी पत्ता और हरी मिर्च को हल्का भून लें।
- अब इसमें प्याज़ डाल लें और लाल कर लें। प्याज़ के लाल हो जाने पर टमाटर डाल लें और अच्छे से भून लें। टमाटर पक जाने पर ग़ोआन रोस्ट मसाला और कुटी हुई खड़ी लाल मिर्च डाल लें। मसाला लगभग तयार है।
- मसाले में अब आलू डाल लें और मिला लें। हल्का पानी का छींटा डाल के अच्छे से मिला लें।
- सॉसिज डाल के अच्छे से मिला लें ओड ढक्कन लगा के पका लें।
- आँच से उतर कर परोसें। यह व्यंजन पाव या पोइय के साथ बहुत अच्चा जाता है। गरमागरम परोसें।
