Pan Fried Basa with Garlic Celery Sauce Recipe – Simple to Make; Snappier to Eat
Pan Fried Basa with Garlic Celery Sauce was a recent, deliciously turned out the experiment. Basa is a catfish imported from Vietnam.
As fish basa is very versatile, it absorbs all kinds of flavours infused in it.
Ever since it was introduced in India in 2011, basa has found its favour with both people and chefs. What works well with basa is that it is economically priced and comes in fat fillets.
It is moist, chunky and takes on flavour easily. Whether you want a tandoori tikka or a pan-seared fillet, basa works beautifully for both.
My current stash of basa came from Spencer’s supermarket, and that too was really inexpensive, just Rs. 300 for a kilo.

Stuff you’ll need for Pan Fried Basa with Garlic Celery Sauce

| Mixed Herbs | For marinade | 1 Tablespoon |
| Lemon Juice | 1 No. | |
| Garlic | Finely chopped | 6-7 Pods |
| Celery | Finely chopped | 1 Whole Stick with Leaves |
| Butter | Salted | 30 Grams |
| Salt | Two pinches | |
| Rice Bran Oil | 1.5 Tablespoons | |
| Black Pepper | A few pinches |
The Process to make Pan Fried Basa with Garlic Celery Sauce
- First of all, get your ingredients ready.
- Mix your dry herbs, lemon juice, salt and black pepper and apply it to the fish.
- Keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Finely chop garlic and celery. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and saute marinated basa.
- Cook for four (4) minutes on each side and remove to a plate.
- Add & melt butter in the same frying pan.
- Now, add the leftover herbed marinade.
- Fry the finely chopped garlic till fragrant and then add celery and cook for about three (3) minutes.
- Pour over the resting fish and eat while still hot.
- Enjoy your fish.
पैन फ़्राइड बासा लहसुन और सेलरी की सॉस में बनाने के लिए कुछ मात्राएँ।

सामग्री पैन फ़्राइड बासा लहसुन और सेलरी की सॉस में बनाने के लिए।

| सेलरी | बारीक कटी हुई | १ पूरी लम्बाई पत्तियों के समेत |
| मखन | नमकीन | ३० ग्राम |
| नमक | दो चुटकी | |
| चावल की भूसी का तेल | डेढ़ बड़ा चमच | |
| काली मिर्च का पाउडर | ३-४ चुटकी |
पैन फ़्राइड बासा लहसुन और सेलरी की सॉस में बनाने की विधि।
- सारी सामग्री एकत्रित कर लें।
- मिलीजुली हेरब्स, निम्बू का रस, नमक और काली मिर्च का मिश्रण बना के बासा पे लगा लें और दस मिनट के लिए रख दें।
- लहसुन और सेलरी को बारीक काट लें।
- फ़्राइइंग पैन में तेल गरम कर के बासा को फ़्राई कर लें। लगभग चार (४) मिनट हर साइड को फ़्राई कर लें।पक जाने पर प्लेट में निकाल लें।
- इसी पैन में मखन को पिघला का उसमें बचा हुआ मच्छी पे लगा मिश्रण डाल लें।
- अब इसमें लहसुन को भून लें और फिर सेलरी को ३-४ मिनट के लिए पका लें।
- पक जाने पर इस सॉस को बासा मच्छी पे डाल कर इसका खा कर आनंद उठाएँ।
- गरमागरम परोसें और चाव से खाएँ।
