Pizza Sauce, Make Homemade Pizza Sauce
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 18 piece Garlic Cloves Finely chopped
- 2 piece Red Chilly Slit into two
- 6 Piece Tomatoes Pureed; Redder the better
- 2 tablespoon Tomato Ketchup I use Heinz
- 1 tablespoon Chilli Flakes
- 1.5 tablespoon Oregano Dried
- 1 tablespoon Rosemary Dried
- 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
- 0.5 Teaspoon Salt To taste
- Add olive oil to a kadhai or a wok and season it with the red chilli.
- Throw in the chopped garlic and saute till it turns golden brown.
- Add the tomatoes and saute for a couple of minutes and then add the tomato ketchup.
- Mix well and keep cooking on low heat.
- Add the dried herbs – oregano, chilli flakes and rosemary and simmer the sauce till oil starts releasing from it.
- Add brown sugar to the pizza sauce and mix till it is well incorporated.
- Adjust the salt and you are good to go with some awesome homemade pizza sauce.
