Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Chopped Bananas
  • 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 10 Number Ice Cubes
  • 1/2 tsp walnut flakes

Instructions

  • Add the oats in a mixer and blend to a fine powder.
  • Add almond milk, bananas, vanilla essence and ice-cubes and blend till the mixture is smooth and frothy.
  • Pour into 2 glasses, garnish with walnut flakes and serve.

Notes

You can use a Greek/fruit yoghurt instead of almond milk for a thicker drink.

Can I store my smoothie for later?

This banana and oats smoothie is best right after you blend it up. But you can make smoothies in advance! Store them up to 1 day, refrigerated in a sealed container or a mason jar with the lid on.

The smoothie may separate, which is perfectly natural. Just shake up the banana and oats smoothie and you’re good to go!
